X-Mas 2004 DSDOZ - Judging Application

Four people will be chosen to judge the game submissions for the Day of Zeux. If you're interested in being one of these judges, reply to this thread with an explanation of why you want to be one, and why you think you're cut out for it. I'll be looking over this thread for the next two weeks, and will approach you directly if I believe you would make a good judge. I expect to have the whole staff announced right before this month ends.
The criteria for scoring can be found at the Official Day of Zeux Site, and will be gone over again sometime before Christmas. Judges will have until Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at 2PM EST/7PM GMT -- two weeks after the grace period ends -- to submit their results. If you're sure you won't be able to get the results in on time, please don't reply to this thread.
Thank you and good day.

I want to judge this year, mainly because I don't think I'll be able to enter the DoZ, but moreover because I would like to make some sort of contribution to the community. Also because I've seen some really unfair judging in my time (*cough* ELIG *cough*) and I would like to prove that I can do a good job too.
But also because I would enjoy playing the variety of games that a DoZ produces before everyone else.

I judged before and didn't give Exo first which clearly shows I am an original judge : )

I think I'd make a decent last minute judge cause I'm getting a computer really soon (yay) and due to my ill luck as of late I have become more objective in my judgements being able to put my personal feelings on certain things aside and guaging things by their quality and merits. I am pretty knowledgeble in mzx's abilities and limitations. And I LOVE YOU ALL. <3

Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

But yeah, if we won't DoZ, I'd at least like to be a judge. I'm not sure if that's such a good idea, though.
<Beige> In Finland, they defecate on each other's sleeping areas.
<Beige> It's a cultural sign of respect.

I may not be a big poster, but I think I can e-mail the results in the grace period (I'm a technophile).
